Cookie Policy

How Mirola.io uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can manage your preferences.

Last updated: 28 May 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Mirola.io ("Mirola", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our marketing website at mirola.io and the Mirola.io application at app.mirola.io. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

Mirola.io is owned and operated by Sauce Marketing Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16482250). We use cookies in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit, such as your preferences and whether you are signed in, and they let us understand how the site is being used so we can improve it.

Cookies can be "session" cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which stay on your device for a set period. They can also be "first-party" (set by Mirola.io) or "third-party" (set by another service we use, such as Stripe).

3. How we use cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you signed in to your Mirola.io account and keep your session secure;
  • Remember your preferences (such as cookie choices and interface settings);
  • Process payments securely and prevent payment fraud;
  • Understand how visitors use our website and app so we can improve them;
  • Measure the performance of our marketing where you have consented to it.

4. Cookie categories we use

We group the cookies we use into four categories:

Strictly necessary

Required for the website and app to work. They include authentication cookies that keep you signed in, security cookies that protect against fraud and CSRF attacks, and a cookie that remembers your cookie-banner choices. These cookies cannot be switched off without breaking core functionality, so we do not ask for consent for them.

Functional

Help us remember choices you have made (such as language, interface preferences, or dismissed notifications) so we can give you a more personalised experience.

Analytics and performance

Help us understand how visitors interact with Mirola.io — which pages are visited, how long people spend on the platform, and where things break — so we can improve the product. We use these only with your consent, and we configure them with IP anonymisation where supported.

Marketing

Used by us and our advertising partners to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and, in some cases, to show you relevant ads on other websites. We only set marketing cookies with your consent.

5. Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by trusted third parties whose services we use to run Mirola.io. These providers control the cookies they set; we recommend reading their own cookie or privacy notices for full detail.

  • Stripe — payment processing and fraud prevention on our pricing and checkout pages. See stripe.com/cookies.
  • Cloud hosting and CDN providers — set short-lived cookies for load balancing, performance and security (e.g. bot detection).
  • Analytics providers — set with consent to measure aggregated usage of our website and app.
  • Live chat and AI assistant — used to maintain your chat session and improve responses. See our Privacy Policy for how AI interactions are handled.
  • Embedded content — if we embed content from third parties (such as videos), those services may set their own cookies when the content loads.

6. Similar technologies

In addition to cookies, we may use related technologies that work in a similar way, including:

  • Local and session storage — used by the app to keep your interface responsive and to cache non-sensitive data between page loads.
  • Pixels and tracking tags — tiny invisible images used (with consent) to measure email opens and marketing campaign performance.
  • Server logs — we keep standard access logs that include IP address, browser type and timestamp for security and diagnostics.

7. Managing your preferences

When you first visit Mirola.io, our cookie banner asks for your consent to non-essential cookies. You can change your mind at any time by reopening the cookie preferences from the link in our website footer, or directly here:

You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block only third-party cookies, or delete cookies that are already stored. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of Mirola.io from working, including signing in.

For step-by-step instructions, see your browser's help pages:

8. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is currently no industry-wide standard for how websites should respond to DNT, so we do not currently change our behaviour based on it. We respect the consent choices you make via our cookie banner.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for legal, operational or regulatory reasons. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
